My name is Christopher Towery and I became a member of the YMCA about 14 months ago. I began working on improving myself for personal reasons and health concerns. Since becoming a member I have lost 60 pounds total. I didn’t really change any daily habits except drinking more water and exercising no less then 3 times a week for no less then 1 hour. I am very happy with my success and intend on continuing with my new lifestyle. I recommend to everyone to try it. I would also like to thank everyone that works for the Y for their encouragement and efforts put forth in making me feel welcome here.

The Coaching Connection is a program committed to supporting our community in making everyday choices to be healthy and live well.
As a benefit of your membership, you are able to meet with a coach once a week for six weeks. During this time, your coach will help you create a comprehensive wellness plan that will get you on track for meeting your goals.
The Y is committed to your success, so you can re-enroll in the program as often as you need. Please stop by the front desk to set up your first appointment.

Group Exercise Classes
Classes are open to all exercise levels, with alternative movements offered for different skill levels to maximize your personal workout. Our instructors are happy to give additional guidance to beginners. Just introduce yourself before class! Minimum age is 12 years (with a parent).
