To enroll, members must stop in the Adrian L. Shuford Jr. YMCA, during normal business hours, to complete the required paperwork, provide updated contact information and take an updated membership photo. Access will be granted within one business day of completing the paperwork.

The 24-Hour Access Program is open to any YMCA of Catawba Valley member, who is at least 18 years old, is a member in good standing and has completed a 24-Hour Access Program Waiver in advance.

Access to the Adrian L. Shuford Jr. YMCA after-hours includes: Fitness Center, Front Restrooms (no locker rooms) and the Basketball Gym.

Access to the Phifer Family YMCA after-hours includes: Fitness Center and Restrooms (no locker rooms).

Please note: The basketball gym will be unavailable on Sunday mornings from 8am - noon due to church service.

24/7 access is available at all times the facility is closed, including holidays. During the YMCA of Catawba Valley business hours, you will be required to access the facility through the main doors as you have done previously

The price is $5.00 per person per month. 

The facility will be monitored by a video surveillance system for security purposes. Staff will review the video on a daily basis to address any security concerns and monitor for appropriate usage. We highly recommend that you exercise with another member who has 24/7 access, when doing so outside of staffed hours of operation. A telephone is located at the fitness desk in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency immediately dial 911.
